  1. Just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the “One Lovely Blog Award.” You’ve been doing an awesome job! I truly enjoy your thoughtful and fun posts!
    I think I would be a hipster if I was 40 years younger! 😉

  2. Hi, Cathy! Thank you for checking out my blog and following. You have a very nice blog and I am sure I will find some useful information here. Your gardening post is great. I will look around some but I already know I will follow your blog. Hugs

  3. Your blog sounds like a lot of fun! Are you German by heritage? I have a German daughter-in-law who is a great joy to me (and our whole family)! Blessings and peace to you!

    1. That’s awesome 🙂 I am not German by heritage, just born there, since my father was in the Army. I traveled to where I was born when I turned 18, such a fun trek around the world! Thanks for stopping by!

      1. Great! My son is an army dentist, and one of his daughters was born in Germany. Maybe she’ll go back someday too!

    1. Sorry, I’m just now reading your question….do you still need help? If so, let me know, and I can explain. It’s not too difficult but when you first get started on wordpress, I know how overwhelming all the settings can seem at first. And if you still need assistance, let me know which theme you’re using so I can check it out to better help you 🙂

  4. Hey Cathy! Felt compelled to say hello as your blog just combined all of the things I experienced in Nashville this weekend! Crazy that you have a blog of the same name! Excited to get to know you!

    1. I will have to type this into google translation hahaha. You are correct, my dad was in the army, we wound up in Germany for a few years and New Orleans as well, before settling in Tennessee. Sorry it took me so long to respond, I have fallen behind in some aspects of my site. Looking forward to reading more of your future posts!

  5. A wonderful site to book mark (yours!). I’m not the most organized gal. And slow steps starting with the New Year looks like a good place to start. Continued success in all you do.

    1. Hey lady 🙂 Thanks for the response, I have fallen behind on answering comments. But thanks for bookmarking this site, means a lot to me, as an amateur blogger 🙂 I am always looking for things to write about, so if you need advice, please give me a topic to discuss!

  6. Cathy, Love your blog! I noticed you’re in Murfreesboro. I’m in Franklin. If you’re interested in learning more about how I’ve used doTERRA essential oils to change my life in helping me better manage my energy levels, chronic physical pain, trauma, depression and anxiety let me know. Would love to share more with you! Hope you have a great Christmas season! John Clint Mabry

  7. Thanks for following BuildingMyBento, Cathy! If you have any suggestions for topics, let me know.

Ah, zip-lining, I’ve only done that once in my life, and that was when the distance between my feet and the ice (yes…) was only half a meter! What are some of the best places to try it in?

  8. Thank you for stopping by my blog! You have a wonderful blog here yourself, I look forward to coming back and reading more. Love that you have a joy for life and adventure! 😀

    All the best,

  9. Hi Cathy!
