If there’s one thing you should know about me, I absolutely love to hike. I love to get outside, explore and push myself . For years I’ve debated whether or not to track my steps. I’m not a fan of watches or anything on my wrist besides hair ties. I’ve also read that Fitbits don’t necessarily aid in weight loss. Thus I’ve never felt compelled to purchase one.
But nonetheless I wanted to track my data. This is where Alltrails comes into play. I could care less about my daily steps; it’s the distance of my hikes I’m interested in.
I referred to Alltrails several years ago for the reviews: I enjoyed reading about the condition of various trails, the lengths, altitude gains and difficulty of the hike. It wasn’t until I ran across two snakes on one trail that I felt compelled to join and post reviews. I have so much to catch up on, but contributing to the forum makes me feel like a part of the Alltrails community.
With that being said, Lifewire wrote about the benefits of Alltrails earlier this summer. Feel free to checkout their review and see for yourself what this app is capable of. I highly recommend it if you’re an avid hiker such as myself!
P.S. For those interested, my featured photo was taken at Loch Lake located at Rocky Mountain National Park. More info on that coming soon.
