Snow shoeing rounds one and two, plus this other time we traveled to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The first time we tried snoeshowing, we had no idea what to do. Christine and Jimmy were kind enough to rent the shoes for us, and we drove to the very top of Poudre Canyon near Cameron Pass. We hiked about 3 miles towards Zimmerman Lake, and it was awesome!
The second time we snoeshowed, Keegan and I found a place to rent shoes that were even cheaper than the ones in Fort Collins. Ben drove that time, but he didn’t seem to enjoy it as much as we did, and that’s okay. Snowshoeing isn’t for everyone. And last but not least, Keegan and I took Buddy to Estes Park for a quick hike after we discovered a little too much snow in the park. We stayed at a lower altitude instead, about 7,500 feet. Feel free to scroll down for pics. The first set is from our second trip up the Poudre, followed by our hike in Estes Park. The pics towards the bottom are from when we kicked it with Jimmy and Christine.
