My blog was set to private the last several weeks as I searched for a mental health therapist position. I’ve talked with three agencies this week and am confident I could land a new position very soon. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next few days.
With that being said, and now that I’ve scrubbed my last name from several social media sites recently, I think it’s safe to make my blog public again. And really, there’s nothing offensive on here (at least I don’t think so). I might have a drink or two on the weekends, while other times I’ll forego an entire month without any booze whatsoever. And frankly, who cares? At 29 years old, I’m allowed to indulge occasionally.
In moving forward, I still plan to outline the daily deets of my life: What’s happening, what I’m thinking and how things are going out here in Colorado. However, I plan to share my political sentiments more often as a staunch opponent of Trump’s political ideations. Between the Women’s March, the recent Refugee Rally in Denver and Betsy DeVos’ unsettling confirmation vote today, there’s much to discuss. But for now, let’s start with my 29th birthday, New Mexico vacation and efforts to eat better and work out more often. It will probably take me several more days to catch up on everything, but I’m just glad to make my blog public again, which motivates me to write more often.
In the meantime, here’s this:
