Last Saturday, Keegan and I finally checked out the Denver Art Museum for free. We started with Clyfford Still’s Collection, and my favorite works produced from the early 1930’s represented the pain and suffering in the United States following the first World War and the Great Depression. Afterwards, we immersed ourselves in the Dance Celebration featuring the Rhythm and Roots Exhibition. Plus we tried the virtual Dancelab, an interactive experience involving live recordings sped up for entertainment purposes. Following our art excursion, we bar hopped for several hours before the one-eyed drive back home. Good thing Keegan drove, as I was in no condition to do so. Shout out to Katie and Ben for hanging with us!
Pretty sure this weekend marks the first in about 6 that we didn’t hike somewhere. Glad to take some rest, since we’re expecting company the next two weekends, and hiking is definitely on the to-do list. Super stoked for the rest of this month!!
