Hope everyone enjoyed a Happy Thanksgiving! Our anniversary fell on Thursday, so we ended up celebrating over the weekend. I want to talk more about this, but first let’s cover the Gatlinburg trip before I forget the major deets.
I probably took about 127482759 photos of the mountains, trees and frozen ice cycles, but I’ll spare my readers from having to scroll much further. Just know that our stay (for free) at the cabin turned out to be spectacular. Our chalet overlooked the most beautiful view of the mountains. Watching for shooting stars in the hot tub on the porch at night sipping on booze with clear, dark skies made the spur-of-the-moment trip so worth it.
I drank wine most of the trip and indulged in rigorous outdoor hiking and nature-watching. We lucked out to see a black bear so close to our car at one point. I was blown away and slightly scared but totally in awe.
Aside from our brief rendezvous, this 4 day weekend was exactly what my soul needed. With 2 Thanksgiving meals on Thursday, anniversary plans on Friday, hanging with Matthew and ladies’ night Saturday, AND Radnor’s Lake today, I am truly worn out. I plan to craft the rest of this night and read a small bit before bed.
But before I sign off, I want to take a moment and express how GRATEFUL I am for amazing friends and a thoughtful boyfriend. Just look at everything Keegan managed to schedule after careful consideration and planning:
So besides the flowers, Keegan bought a new sewing machine for me to help kick off my Etsy shop! Hoping to have it running very soon. Can’t wait to become a sewing pro. I tried to capture several moments throughout the day of our anniversary. Here’s a few. . .
Continue to scroll for pics from the remainder of the weekend. I’m so thankful for time with my family, Keegan, his friends, my friends and everyone in between.
This domain name for my site will change soon, since I don’t plan to renew my premium membership next year. However, I will try to remember to post a link with new domain before the switch takes place. Hopefully those reading will be redirected with ease, but who knows. And hopefully you can see the link after the switch, but probably not.
