After stumbling across 4 cheap vintage windows from a soon-to-be-demolished house, I welcomed a new Do it Yourself Project. Cheap, fun and easy, window re-purposing provides a creative outlet.

1. Pick desired fabrics
2. Cut to fit glass
3. Smooth out bubbles in fabric
4. Secure with fabric glue
1. Add Shelf by following provided directions
2. Note: I chose to work on this step upside down, so shelf would not rub against the floor as I attached it.
3. Add screws to the back of window, one on each side towards the top.
4. Tie wire between screws to hang the window.
What can you add to your ledge? Flowers, candles, tea pots…..
Books and penny banks….
Incense and tea light holders…..
